I am outside in a clearing near a forest or some woods. There are many people here, including members of my family. We are watching the sun. It is giving off bright bursts of energy, like those created by sunspots. We are all pointing and oooing and ahhing at the sight. Then the sun starts getting bigger … and bigger. It is getting closer and closer and everyone is getting scared. It suddenly occurs to us that the sun is going to crash into us and end the world. Some people start yelling and screaming and running around hysterically. I see others start to pray — people I know who don’t normally pray and I feel they have suddenly found ‘God’ just because they know the world is going to end. While at first I am scared knowing the world is going to end, I then become peaceful and start praying, giving thanks for the life that I have had, knowing that there is more yet to come, that the end of the world isn’t the end of everything. The sun gets bigger and bigger and then suddenly veers off to the left and we see a huge explosion in the distance. We all stare in awe and disbelief, not understanding what happened. As we watch, a huge ball of light comes towards us from the direction of the explosion. It gets smaller as it approaches. It stops in front of us and dissipates into a being. He tells us that what we have just experienced was a test, that if we failed, they came to destroy the planet. He says that not everyone passed the test, but enough of us passed to tell them that we were worth saving.
